J. Ned Dempsey, Chairman
Ned is the founder of Century West Engineering, and was its President for over twenty years. Century West is a highly successful NW regional engineering company, which specializes in infrastructure, planning, design and construction management. A successful engineer, Ned is a recognized leader in the State of Oregon regarding sustainability, and he is the founder of the Center of Sustainability in Oregon. Ned is the current Co-Chair of Oregon’s Climate Change Integration Group, and the inspiration behind the esteemed APWA Julian Prize - awarded for Sustainability in Public Works. Ned is a Pneu-Logic founder, and a principle shareholder.
Tom Orton, CEO
Tom started his career as one of Intel’s early employees, and spent fifteen years developing semiconductor factories and manufacturing organizations (building 13 factories in six countries). Subsequently, Tom served as Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Manufacturing Group, LLC, Modis Technologies, and Integrated Semiconductor Training & Modeling. Tom has demonstrated experience as CEO transitioning companies to highly profitable, growing operations. He has personally raised $70+ million in venture capital, used to build or grow several successful companies.
Jason Moyer, CFO
Jason has earned more than 15 years of relevant professional experience, including senior roles in executive management consulting, strategy, business planning, corporate finance, new business development, divestiture, integration, and business valuation. During the course of his career, Jason has interfaced with scores of companies and directly influenced business decisions representing billions of dollars. Exposure ranges from startup to Fortune 500 organizations, including tenure with Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC), PacifiCorp (a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate), Planar Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLNR), and ReliaStar Financial Corp. (an ING affiliate). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and an MBA, and regularly serves as an adviser to executive management.
Michael “Dusty” Smith, PE, COO
Dusty is one of the original contributing developers of Pneu-Logic technology, is co-inventor of the PL4000, and is globally recognized as a leading engineer in compressed air technology. Dusty is responsible for multiple Pneu-Logic teams including; technology & product development, project management, system implementation, startup and support. He has conducted numerous compressed air system assessments throughout the world, and managed implementation of Pneu-Logic solutions both domestically and abroad. A licensed professional mechanical engineer, Dusty is a USDOE AirMaster+ Specialist and a USDOE Save Energy Now Expert.
