Michael “Dusty” Smith, PE, COO
Dusty is one of the original contributing developers of Pneu-Logic technology, is co-inventor of the PL4000, and is globally recognized as a leading engineer in compressed air technology. As Chief Operating Officer, Dusty is responsible for multiple Pneu-Logic teams including; technology & product development, project management, system implementation, startup and support. He has conducted numerous compressed air system assessments throughout the world, and managed implementation of Pneu-Logic solutions both domestically and abroad. A licensed professional mechanical engineer, Dusty is a US Department of Energy (USDOE) AirMaster+ Specialist and a USDOE Save Energy Now Expert.
Eric Bessey, PE, Chief Project Engineer
A licensed professional mechanical engineer and compressed air systems specialist with over fourteen years of experience, Eric has performed over 100 compressed air system assessments. Eric has extensive knowledge with low and medium voltage reciprocating, rotary screw, and centrifugal compressor types. He is also responsible for the development of AIRMaster+, a nationally recognized software program used to model existing and improved compressed air systems. He is a certified USDOE AIRMaster+ Specialist and USDOE Save Energy Now Expert. Eric is also a certified instructor for Compressed Air Challenge and AIRMaster+. On a daily basis he is responsible for leading assessments, managing installation of control systems along with implementation of ancillary system improvements. Eric is also a member of our product development and technology team.
Tam Tran, Compressed Air Specialist
A graduate of Washington State University, Tam holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and possesses an extensive Computer Science background, with experience in programming, software development and testing. At Pneu-Logic, he is always on the move to a new customer sites, installing and configuring our products. Tam is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is a qualified AIRMaster+ Specialist.
